There Is ONLY 2 Ways To Grow Any Business
Since the words ‘business’ and ‘growth’ were discovered, there have only been 2 ways to grow any business.
Doesn’t matter if it’s an agency, a bakery, or a restaurant…
This is a universal rule. It applies to
EVERY…
SINGLE…
BUSINESS…
It is applicable for ALL drunker giant companies to ALL smaller tiny companies.
And most companies only focus on one, because the other is too complex.
But in reality, it’s not.
It just requires some brain calories to figure stuff out.
Some actual effort first
But then, it will run on autopilot.
Here in this article, I will tell you how to grow your business and make your profit margins much higher than ever before.
The Never Ending Cycle…
Most businesses focus on one thing, and one thing only, when it comes to ‘generating money’ or ‘profit.’
And that’s their cold leads.
Like a religion.
They try to convert everyone into a warm, then to a hot lead, and finally… into a customer.
After that, poof… they disappear. Gone with the wind.
They already have what they want, right?
So why would you focus on someone who already bought from you? Nonsense…
Then the customer leaves and goes elsewhere.
Here’s a tough pill to swallow…
That is not the customer’s fault, this is the business owner’s fault…
One phrase that will run through my mind when I hear the word ‘fault’.
“It is easier to blame other people than blame ourselves.”
It’s like landing a girlfriend/boyfriend, whatever you’re into, and once you’re together…
you stop caring about them.
Weird, isn’t it?
And if the relationship fails, it’s obvious why it did. Well, it’s the same thing with businesses.
You have to focus on both things, which is getting a partner AND caring about them.
So if it’s so obvious in dating, then why isn’t it the same in business?
Don’t forget.
Business is life and life is business.
The Empty Bed Syndrome…
It’s called a syndrome because it’s not real.
Your bed isn’t empty, you just don’t notice what’s in it anymore.
I’m still talking about your business, by the way.
We didn’t turn this into marriage counseling.
…
Start caring about your customers.
Nurture them. Talk with them. Send that “Good morning” message.
It’s not that difficult.
You just have to meet them where they are.
I know…
It’s a bit more complicated than dating because you have more than one customer that you need to nurture.
And thousands of others to attract. So what now?
You just have to meet them where they are. Imagine you’re arguing with your partner. They are mad at you because you forgot to wash the dishes or take the trash out.
It happens.
Then you say “Just calm down, please.” In a calm, soothing voice.
Well, congrats… you just made them even angrier.
But that wasn’t your goal, and we both know that. And they know it too! So why did they turn into Hulk?
It’s because you didn’t match their energy.
Be on the same level as they are. If they’re angry, act angry too. If they’re happy, be happy. That doesn’t mean you have to obey everything someone says to you.
You just meet them where they are, because only after that can you lead the conversation.
Where Are They…?
And it’s the same stuff with your customers. There are usually 3 phases they fall into:
- Awareness phase
- Consideration phase
- Decision phase
So it doesn’t make sense to treat a customer, who’s in their Decision Phase, as a cold lead.
You know each other well, but you still start out in the Awareness Phase.
The customer – usually – doesn’t have Alzheimer’s.
They did not forget you overnight. They already know you very well.
If they’re in the Decision-Making Phase, treat them as a warm or hot lead – convince them why you’re the best, and don’t try to convince them about their problem.
Because they’re already aware of their problem, and already know how to fix it.
They just aren’t sure what’s the right solution or fit for them.
That’s where you come in and convince them.
So, to recap…
The ONLY two ways to grow ANY business are:
- Attract new clients
- Make your current clients spend more
And no, you don’t treat them the same way.
Never.
You either get new clients, or you either make your current ones spend more, by nurturing them.
Focus on both, and you’ll crush it.
And if you’re still not sure about how to do it, it’s all fine. Get in touch, for free, and we will let you know what we can do for your business!
